Hi guys,
Just a lil' something I wanna share with you. This is a little toy I made while exploring this new weird thing called HTML5. It's heavily inspired by 8bit NYC. It's not a game really. Pixelated overlay over Google maps.

It comes in three color modes:
-Grayscale
-CGA0
-CGA1
-Gameboy green (not really GB but green none the less).

Works in all HTML5 enabled browsers.

PS. Tampere is a city in Finland. It is also an original home of Nokia.

I live in Tampere. Not sure what this thing is exactly, though.

Just a software toy. Overlay over google maps. You can do a (very rough) location search. Kinda like this:

Just simpler tech behind it.

I still don't get the point of it. You rasterized vector map data... To what end?

I would like to be able to pan around more freely.
