Hey guys,

Here's a short demo video I made today that shows one of H2's weapons in action:

Stats:

TYRETTE, Cursing Sword
Offensive STR: +2
May banish enemies to the WTF Zone on strike
Attacks (2): Ground slash & Air Vortex
Drains 1 HP / round but won't kill you outright
Randomly spews one of 10 possible swears every 3rd swing.

Voiced by Tai Heatley, lead singer for rock band Cult 45.  Well, hello there!

More info about the game:

I was amused at the idea, but the execution makes it feel a little childish.  I think a different voice (something grunty and vulgar) and curses more akin to catcalls or passive-aggressiveness would be better.

I assume the framerate is due to a bad screen recorder? Because if anything kills a potentially cool game for me, it's low framerate.

Yeah it's a Camstudio recording and it almost always records slower than it plays. I don't know why that is but rest assured it IS faster normally.

I do appreciate your feedback, but I gotta' stick with my buddy on this one. I've known her for a million years and she's got a shitload of talent (singing & acting). And she has heart & crossbone tats, man! That shit is cool.  Beer!

Well, at least don't pitch-shift it.  That's my two cents.   Undecided

I tried something new with this one by importing each wav into ModPlug Tracker as an instrument, bumping them all up to D#, then slapping on a flange effect. When they're spoke normally they didn't sound as good.
