I watched "Princess" last night on Netflix:

It was surprisingly good and I couldn't stop watching it until the end. Very intense and moving at times. I would recommend seeing it.

ah, I've had that on my netflix for a while but I still haven't gotten around to watching it. Thx for reminding, will check it out soon.

Also, I watched Aachi & Ssipak last night, Korean movie. It wasn't as crazy as I'd expected, from the wikipedia synopsis, but I haven't figured out a way to summarize it myself without making it sound crazy and weird:
the world runs out of energy or something so they find a way to convert poop into an energy source and then start rewarding people who poop well with addictive popsicle drugs that make them poop even more, but a side effect of the drug is turning into a stupid imp creature that can't poop at all.

Crazy mad action sequences and stuff. Surprisingly little vulgarity, given the setting. I liked.

edit; by vulgarity I mean shit. Defecation. Excrement. Nasty stuff. There was alot of violence and suggestive stuff tho.

Wow... I'm not sure how to feel about this. It was beautiful, incredible, and terrifying all at once; a lot like life.

Jiri Barta is to Jan Svankmajer as Arthur Lee is to Derek Yu.

And... wow, Barta's Labyrinth of Darkness can be seen in its entirety on YouTube:
