So what's the equivalent of a brain for a zombie vegetable?

Tomatoe: "Seeeeeeeds, Seeeeeeds!"
Cucumber: "RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!"

But grains are a type of grain, not vege-table .
Seeds are like the ovaries.
I'm gonna have to go with stems here.

Side note:  I just noticed that the guy on the far right (lettuce or cabbage maybe?) is wearing laurels.

Is that because he's a "head" of state?

Or just because he's likely to end up in a Caesar salad...?

ALSO tomatoes is not a vegetable.

Legally, in the U.S. a tomato is a vegetable.  Please refer to the Supreme Court ruling of Nix v. Hedden, 149 U.S. 304 (1893).

Also it's clearly the sunshine which is a zombie.

I am working on a mock up right now but you guys are right in that the sun itself will be the zombie and of course players will be controlling the sun and all its destructive glory. The poor people of the salad kingdom won't know what hit them.
