I agree, it looks pretty nice for someone that says he's got no art ability. It's obviously no Arne/Lurk, but who is? As long as the graphics are readable, I'm fine with it.

ok there's pretty much no way i'm gonna have this done by the deadline. I'm gonna carry on working on it because I love the idea and I do want to finish it, but I'm going away next week and coming back with about 4 days before the end of the month.

This game WILL be done, just not for this competition.

Graphics look very Pokemanly, which is a good thing.  Also, I'm always in for some good roguelike action. Throw in an unusual setting and mechanics and I'm excited.  Wink

I like the art a lot, although the person's feet look a little funny, since their soles are not outlined in black like everything else.

Based on what I've read, I'm looking forward to this.  Do you think you will have some sort of build before the deadline?
