Thx TeeGee Smiley

I woke up with my wonderful girlfriend next to me.

At first I read "I woke up with my wonderful girlfriend on top of me." AAaah yeah Smiley

That'd be nice, too!

Steam finally approved my purchase of Audiosurf. The fact that they require IP address to match the country of your payment method makes sense in terms of consumer protection, but it's very annoy for ex-patriots like me who have ran into denied purchases and didn't know about it until after doing a little digging. I was, actually, able to download and play it yesterday, but I'm still pretty happy and satisfied about it all today.

It happens to me all the time.

A brilliant, world-changing epiphany pops up when I'm half asleep, I spend a good fifteen seconds marveling at my genius, then I go to sleep planning to write it all down in the morning. Problem arises when I wake up and no longer remember the idea, just the occurrence of the idea. I remember having an idea but the idea ran away at some point during sleep.

Well, last night I awoke at midnight and one such an epiphany sprang to mind, and it struck me as an idea of such magnitude, such importance that I decided to jot it down on the spot.

Behold, the product of the think-tank that is my half-asleep mind!:

If remembering and being able to share this sort of inspiration with the world doesn't count as some sort of 'stoke of the day,' I don't know what does.

I worked, laughed, and played at Flashbang all day.  I saw a flying brontosaurus in three dimensions. Then I watched a sunset, walked a dog, and played a hockey game.

I woke up, ate a PBnJ sandwich, walked to school. Animated the face of a character from a long dead CG cartoon. Had a 2 hour brainstorming meeting, about our openGL project. Watched punching people just before they eat, walked home, figured out that all school projects I have done are space combat games, Overcame my depression over lack of creativity. Un clogged the sink, and here we are.

No, actually, it was a show that was never released called Dust Runners, one of my teachers uses the turn-arounds and models he had done as teaching tools.

Mechanical Engineering... I (hopefully) will become a 'MEng' (and have letters after my name!), which is a good thing I suppose Tongue

But today is also the day I start work on my VGNG game! Woo!

Of course it is! Not only now there is no more Aquaria, the game also teased me with the prospect of a sequel to come!
