Color Space Beaver
Description
You're a Beaver! In Space! A Space Beaver! There's Color! We'll work out the details later!
Details from Later! There's a leak in the Universe caused by an unknown bad guy. Your job is to plug that leak with stuff you collect from various planets. It won't be easy. It won't make sense. And only a Beaver can do it.
This will be a 2.5d sidescrolling platformer that transitions to a vertical shoot-em up. Collect power ups and battle baddies on a planets surface to find an object worthy of plugging the space leak. Launch it into space, and follow it whilst battling more enemies using the powerups you've found on the planets surface. The goal is to guide the object to the leak without it getting destroyed, either from drifting into a planet/star/other object, or from relentless assault from other bad guys! | | Inspired by

DownloadWill be available for PC/Mac. Source, including art/assets will be available as well, possibly under Creative Commons. How to playFor now, just use your analog brain controller and imagine it. It's great isn't it?

This is my first post on TIG, and my first competition ever. Also the first time I've ever done anything with beavers. Honest.
The cart imagery isn't much to be desired. It's not even very colorful. But the title.. it was just to hard to pass up.
Stay tuned to see so much colored space beaver goodness, you'll think it's beaver pride month.

I figured this would end up a NSFW title.

Looks really great! I really like the tiny feet, and the little touch of rainbow.

I picture this space beaver carrying around some sort of hydraulic space teeth apparatus that allows him to gnaw on giant space things.

Just for fun I wanted to say that Space Beaver was an actual (obscure) 90's comic.

I think Space Beaver is way too generic and the comic way too obscure.
So I doubt you'll run into problems.
