Found out about this in an article on Destructoid. A self-proclaimed 'not-so-massively multiplayer online game', LOVE certainly sounds like an interesting concept; a little bit like A Tale in the Desert, the world is procedurally generated, and the players help shape the world by cooperating. If nothing else, I really dig the art style- you can check out some screenshots at the official site here: http://www.quelsolaar.com/love/screen_shots.html...And here's the eyes-on impressions report at Rock-Paper-Shotgun: http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/?p=1164

I think they're actual ingame shots Look at the aliasing artifacts! Either screenshots or the artist is stupid.

real art looks like the mona lisa or a halo poster and is about being old or having your wife die and sometimes the level goes in reverse

Seems like he has some nice tech but doesn't have the first idea of what the game will actually be.

Yeah, I noticed that too... hmm, well maybe he just wanted the tech done first??? If it doesn't work out, he should just make a sweet ass fps using the same graphics engine.

Damn you Sweden! Stop making the rest of us look bad!
Also I'm a big fan of procedurally generated stuff, mostly because it hasn't been done RIGHT nearly enough yet. Hopefully this guy can pull it off.
Also another reason I'm eagerly waiting for Spore. Still.

Maybe he was a bit camera shy seemed to say "and things like that" lots. Either way, that looks beautiful.

This looks like a Fable sort of game. Lots of promises, but whether they will actually materialize or not is another matter. Still, this looks a lot more feasible than Fable "you can buy everything and become emperor of the world" 2. I hope it does turn out well because if it does it could be a must buy.

The problem with a game like Fable is that it offers you the possibility to do anything you want in a boring fantasy world where everything is boring. At the very least, this looks like it has interesting and unique environments.
