another bit of garden

Description
Get ready for some reasonably exciting plant tending action. Not entirely sure about the details yet, but expect more of an arcade game than a simulation of some kind.

I like how you interpreted the case graphic into 3d.

I like that blocky 3D look. I hope you keep it.

very sexy - feels a bit sonicish with the checkerboard texture - I like it though, interprets the  image well. :3

Thanks guys. I do intend to keep the blocky/pixel style for the main 'grid' itself, though hopefully there will be time to add some details around the place in a similar style. Figured I should work on the whole fun aspect for now though, as it’s mainly a rotating clump of cubes!

Process is coming along okay, though most of the changes are under the hood (I am far from being a programmer, even a grid and cubes can cause me trouble it seems!). For now I'm experimenting with using tetris/columns style blocks to play the various aspects of the garden, though with no time pressure. Looking to add bulbs, flowers and thorns next.
