1:37 I felt the review was quite positive. Disclaimer: All cats are poked just to the left of the cleftal horizon.

I can't tell if this article is positive or nagative. Thanks for telling me about it though! Seems pretty clearly positive to me. Also, you're NOT poking the cats in the ass?! I totally made that assumption too

Molly isn't literally poking the cat's butthole. Just the backside [as if you were sneaking up to a cat]
The world is now suddenly a little less magical with this knowledge. It's like discovering Santa isn't real.

If you didn't want people to think she was poking cats on the asshole you should probably have made the pictures more obvious about that. I'd leave it this way. It's funny.

There's a typo in the message you get when you try to go out.
Thank you for this, it's wonderful.

I supposed she wasn't, because it didn't seem to fit the mood of the game, but it really looks like she was.

How did nobody else catch this?!? Anyways, thanks for letting me know. I've updated the game with this fixed, but i kept it v1.3 cause it didn't seem like a big enough fix to make it 1.4.

I just showed this to my friend and her kid siblings and they all loved it! Thing is though, the first time we started it up we hit a weird-ass bug. When we tried opening the front door no message would display, and when we moved to another screen the girl's mother announced the rain had stopped. At this point the only cat we'd poked was the one on the starting screen so I'm not sure which arcane sequence of buttons we'd pushed to trigger the ending sequence.

Unless JaJitsu hired a monkey to program the game or JaJitsu put a debug code to skip to the end, just pressing buttons shouldn't do that. Maybe that one poke counted for all the cats by accident or maybe it was just a fluke? It would depend how it was coded. code examples if I were to write this particular portion of the game event (change screen) { if (all cats have been poked && doorUnlock == false) { display(end message); doorUnlock = true; } } orevent (change screen) { if (catsPoked == forgot how many :/ && doorUnlock == false) { display(end message); doorUnlock = true; } } obviously the code differs on what language is used. Both examples shouldn't do what you are describing unless the memory gets changed or there is still debugging code left in.

Ummm, I was able to make the ladder disappear... it's not supposed to do that, right?
*edit
Nevermind... and how the heck is she carrying a ladder 10 times her size in her pocket? @_@

I played this last night and my cat sat transfixed at the screen the whole time. Really fun game, I made this picture to express my cat's reaction. Also, I couldn't figure out that you had to go out and back into some rooms to make the cats come out(mainly the TV one)

I loved it. At first I was a bit confused on how to collect some cats, but once I figured out I could jump and equip items, things were a lot more straight-forward. Adventure Time cat and sneak-up-and-poke cat are my favorites, I think. It was a cute diversion. The pixel art was colorful and well-done, and the NES-style chiptunes are fun and nicely fit an expedition to poke cats. Also, I like all the indie game art on this family has tacked on their walls, hehe. :D
