This game is so cute I love the pixel art, and the interpretation of Cat Poke ... really great work! I got all the cats except the one in the dark -- I'll try again with Melly's hint

The cutest game. The ending is quite excellent. I really like how the level expands infinitely to the left and right; it really makes one feel like a little child in a big world!
Although I'm not sure how a small girl can pick up a whole ladder.

Awesome game, I had to rage quit when I couldn't figure out how to get to the attic. I just beat it after seeing Melly's hint. My suggestion would be to add a -take- command when over the ladder. Some people like me need you to spell it out for us, haha.

Looks like J forgot a flag somewhere for completing the game. You just need to get out of the house to complete the game.

Ahh I figured that after I closed it.
Oh well I'm not ashamed to play this game three times!
EDIT: The twist at the end is a classic.

Got them all :D The scaredy cat one had me stumped for ages.
Game was cute and cutscenes were brilliant. I especially loved the expression on the girls face at the start. Classic.

Alright I updated to V1.1 which has "Take" on the ladder. Sorry for the confusion!
Thank you everyone on the praise for cuteness. That is what I was going for so it's good to hear you all like it!
@rdein- it was a spoof on cat party from frisky dingo XD
@Machine Saint- i was checking everything but couldn't figure out how you finished without all cats poked @_@
@JMickle- thanks! the cut scenes were really fun to animate.

SPOILERS Jump to poke the stove controls to turn it on, then place the scented candle on the stovetop. Now take the candle to the laundry room, jump to poke the door open on the drying machine so the cat can get out, and place the candle on the carpet just far away enough that the cat has to get out.

@JR ah, ok good then it wasn't really a spoiler! That's what I was trying to do, it just didn't quite "click" into place. Woot, now to finish 'er up!

The animations are super awesome, and the pixel art is too cute for me to handle. Beating the game made my day. Great game!

Personally I'm a bit leaning towards not having anything saying that you can get the ladder. Sure, it's counter-intuitive, but also very amusing once you figure it out. Plus, there's nothing else anywhere in the house that can get that high, so.

This game is so adorable It strikes me as something a bored little kid would actually do. I liked how the picutres were references to other indie games. Sadly I didn't recognize all of them.

@JaJitsu: I said I didn't recognize all of them. If hadn't recognized any of them, I wouldn't be able to figure out they were references in the first place. I did recognize Tower of Heaven, Quote and Curly from Cave Story, and Spelunky, but not the others.

Yeah, the paintings were neat. I couldn't figure out one of them (it had a guy in red with a backpack or something?), but I was able to identify the rest. The Rescue: The Beagles one had me puzzled for a few moments, but once I figured it out I kind of went, "Oh, yeeessss!"
...Of course, this is assuming that this was, in fact, what it was actually supposed to be.
