Explanation
The player navigates by walking on slopes which transition gravity fields and passing through one door and out another in a rather portal like manner, which may happen to be on the other side of the room. After some fiddling or logic, the player will reach the exit.

Design

3rd July
Rammed into a wall when I realised how hard it is to wrap my head around modelling a Escher area. Lucky for me, I quickly recovered the damage I had made to Relativity. Sorry MC Escher (the only MC for me). This modelling is still underway.

Awesome, this could have some boggling brain teasers.

It's actually quite boggling to model too. I accidentally connected stairs to the wrong side of the arch in Relativity, to realise that I had to move it, to realise I hadn't put it wrong at all, but there should have been an extra step in the stairs itself.

The old Atari 800/C64 game "Realm of Impossibility" had some cool Escher-like levels in a fixed isometric perspective (it's mechanically very simple but it looks neat). There's also a Serious Sam (multiplayer) map that does some neat Escher-like gravity switching tricks in 3D, I forget what it's called though.

And don't forget about the totally sweet gravity changing level in Psychonauts. The one in the floating suburban neighborhood with all the security guys.

Simply switching gravity is too little to create a true 'Escher experience'. You need the whole package.

I should note that the cover is only for inspiration, this will not actually be in gameboy style.

In other news: I made a cool logo (if I might say so myself).

It's cool, but needs more Escher.
