While I quite like the look of 'em, I also hate people who set themselves up as the authority on a subject. Personally, I'd think that transparency in your description of a game makes things like this redundant. |

I personally don't like the way there is a " TM " slapped on the end of everything, but that's probably just my contrary nature. ;P
Aside from that, they look good, but I see no real reason to use them.

Because there's no official process to go through, the ratings can mean whatever you want, really (however, there are guidelines when you setup your tag). You can very easily lie, though. However, someone can complain about your interpretation of the ratings, and get you banned from using the scheme. Oh no. What a disaster that'd be. But it's free. If you stick to the honor system, who knows? Maybe it could be good. So, swings and roundabouts. |
