...and that's it! Each of the 55 games is covered. With the single exception of Pineappo I played through all of them, and apart from that and the other single exception of Teppoman 2 all videos show complete playthroughs (Though I think there'll still be a thorough walkthrough of Teppoman 2).
Now, on to the conclusion...

Awesome! Hopefully Ikiki will make some more games for you to play soon. Looking forward to the finale.

Finale is still postponed, but I'll do that compilation video some time. Meanwhile, Ikiki released a new little game, Katuo Bomb -> Top link: http://ikiki.sokushinbutsu.com/himoji/game.htmYou're a diver, riding explosive fish like torpedoes to blow up scuba robots, yay. Shift to start the game, hold Shift to ride the fish, release Shift to fire them off, and hold Ctrl to slow down. Funny game, but the difficulty ramps up slooowly.

It's too bad that Ikiki isn't a TIGS member, because Katuo Bomb would make a fantastic Versus compo entry.

Dude. Versus would be awesome if one player was a robot who commandered scuba robots to blow up the fish.
Katuo Bomb is pretty fun, the central mechanic is thrilling enough.

Hello! Anyone keeping track of Ikiki's games? I surely wasn't. Unfortunately, I also didn't finish my work on the compilation video of all of Ikiki's games released thus far. And, by now there are more games, so it's even less likely I'll find the time and will to do it.. Anyway, I've just checked out all the games I've missed, and while they are mostly as charming and forgettable as Ikiki's average game is, there is one cool title. That's "Buntan" ( http://ikiki.sokushinbutsu.com/himoji/game.htm second game from the top, released "11/09/30"). At first glance it's his typical ninja game with throwing stars again, but there is more than one catch. Firstly, you can stop time by pressing Z! Even if an enemy is charging right at you, you can just stop time, fling ten throwing stars his way, get to cover, let time pass again (which you need to do quickly enough, otherwise you die) and watch as he gets riddled with lots of pointy steel. Also, you can pick up crates, replace them or smash in enemies' heads with them. And then there's the combinations: Throw a crate, stop time and use it as a short-lived static platform, for example. You can also hang onto corners (jump at it, or drop down via down arrow) and jump off them (different direction arrow key+shift), which is necessary because you die from high falls. Gets quite tricky. It's nowhere near as polished as Teppoman 2 with its rather floaty controls, but it's a pretty cool game no less And as per usual, especially the boss fights can be pretty fun, making great use of the unique features.

Oh, hadn't seen your post I had a surprisingly fun time trying to master Buntan, but so far I've also been stuck on the (hopefully) final boss for the same reason as you. But, if I remember correctly I found the hidden bottles in all the levels.

Apparently Ikiki's site has been down again for a while. Since I was approached about it being quite difficult to find his games right now, I've packed all of them together again and uploaded them, only this time I also added their descriptions from my videos. So, nearly all games also include a little explanation about their basics as well as the controls and special moves, which can otherwise be rather tough to find out Enjoy, here it is: http://www.mediafire.com/?ydzkmy7ry6myyo4

Ikiki's homepage has changed again since last year. All older links are dead, and his new page is this one: http://ikiki.digi2.jp/himoji/Sadly, it only includes a handful of his latest games. At least there is one new game, Mogigi 2, a pretty fun but unforgiving Shmup, believe it or not

I can't figure out the controls to the sumo game, and I know how to float around the Christmas elf game and how to drop whatever it is he's dropping, but I don't know what the objective is after taking out the security guards.

It took me dozens of plays to figure out alternate paths for the first couple levels. Try running up the bottom of the first level!

Here's a little blast from the past! Ikiki himself reached out to me on YouTube to tell me that his current homepage, which features all his games ever released, shouldn't change any more, so this is the definitive link (for now) to get them: http://ikiki.la.coocan.jp/himoji/game.htmAlso, he appears to be more active than he's ever been, releasing game after game. And, oh my, just two days ago he released Teppoman 3! My video series won't continue, but it's great to see his games being as relevant as they've ever been. I may not be as much of a gamer as I used to be, but seeing a sequel to one of my favorite indie games really brings me back Have fun!
