Maybe some of you here were actually there but I'm posting this for the convenience of those that did not go to GDC.

Thanks for posting this, I hadn't seen it before.

I found the talk inspiring. She brought up a lot of issues in game design I also have been struggling over for the past few years. To be honest, I've lost a ton of faith in games as a medium recently, but seeing this is a good reminder that they really can be personally affecting experiences. It's a thing of necessary weight in an era of levity.
