I never saw the movie, as my girlfriend at the time threatened to mercy-kill me if I did so.
Perhaps it is time again for a drunken movie night.

I guess I'll call poison control then...

I really appreciated the Dungeons and Dragons movie.
Maybe I'm the only person to have thought of this (although I doubt it), but does it strike anyone else who played Dungeons and Dragons in high school as a pretty accurate representation?
I mean, you've got some random guys who embark on an epic quest for essentially no reason, monsters show up basically at random, half the party has absolutely no reason for following the other half around... while I'm certain it was completely unintentional, the movie actually had me feeling nostalgic at points.
Ah, the bad old days...
You know I sort of had that feeling without ever having played D&D. I thought it was pretty entertaining regardless. Not good, by any stretch, but entertaining. I wouldn't recommend it to a stranger for sure.

Greedy bastards, thanks for fixing it.
I think browsers should have some feature to let you know if images can be hotlinked, like: Image properties > HOTLINKING: YES/NO. Maybe I'm thinking so ahead of time, but someday we will get there, I see it coming...

Haha:
!@#!$@$ I cannot stand these. They're basically false advertising. And they get played all the time. It drives me MAD. I was going to make a dedicated thread (or maybe a TIGSource article) ranting about these, actually... There's just so much wrong with them. The poor, stupid kids who get baited by this crap... I feel sorry for them.

I would love to see that article, BMcC.
Also, you guys should look at the ytmnds for those commercials -- some of them made my gut hurt from laughing too hard.

I showed Tommy this, and he immediately called them up. Oh man. Phone pranking is so juvinile, but Tommy does excellent voices so it was funny to hear. Didn't get to speak to anyone interesting, just someone asking where we could send the information. She asked for the zipcode, and he goes "90210" because he couldn't think of anything else. She says "but you're calling from a north carolina number?" He then (rather cleverly) tells her "I use skype, and so it looks like a north carolina number". Then she says "So how did you see the commercial if you're not in denver?" and he goes "well, we have a satellite, and we pick up denver's feed so that's why". Utterly convincing, even when using his Ronnie Retardo voice.

Spam. You seem to be getting quite a bit of it at the moment. Have you got any kind of preventative software in place? Bad Behaviour works really well for me. And on a totally different note: Does anybody know which episode of the Simpsons Homer says "I don't care! Do any of you care?". Can't find it with google... Also, anyone know of a good way to remove a laugh track? k thks bye

For everything simpsons, it helps to add "site:snpp.com" to the end of your google searches.

This is pretty creepy. At least we know they can't turn on us since they are in that big fancy cage. I think they have the same AI as those vacuum cleaner robots.
