Congrats to the winners! Not surprising at all but still very well deserved. Kinda bummed by my numbers even with no delusions of winning but that's to be expected.

Grats! I need to revisit 8:Capsule, apparently. I couldn't make sense of the first level.

Congrats to all winners and everyone who entered the competition! I'm a bit surprised the game I would've voted for if I only had 1 vote was so low on votes that can only mean I'm way indier than most people here

Those were my personal Top 3 in exactly that order. Congrats to the winners and everyone else. This was a fun compo. I'm not sure how to feel about the fact that I did worse than in Assemblee with what I think is a better game though...

Man, none of the games I voted for were even in the top four. Since they deserve all the recognition they can get, here's a quick summary of why I voted for them.
Color Space Beaver- This was a pretty standard shmup, but everything was very well done. The enemies were interesting, the controls were smooth, the difficulty was fair, the story was entertaining and the graphics were cute
For the Twin- This was the game that surprised me most. I do not normally like hidden object games, but this one really worked for me. The creative and adorable graphics and the catchy soundtrack made this game a great experience. There was also a decent amount of variety in the gameplay, to keep things interesting. Frankly, this was about as good a take on the concept as you could possibly get.
International King of Wine- The basic gameplay is the same as that of many arcade games- avoid the bad stuff and collect the good stuff. What makes it interesting is that what qualifies as good or bad changes from moment to moment and level to level. There's a surprising amount of depth and strategy here, and the frantic gameplay is a whole lot of fun. The are style also looks quite nice, and the subtext about wine critics (and critics in general) is amusing.
Love Letter- It's a puzzle platformer with a simple mechanic, but it works quite well. I like these sorts of games, and this is a pretty good one. The gameplay, graphics, music and theme all work together well; this was probably the most cohesive game of the competition.
Madris- It's a unique falling block puzzle game with a good theme. Even though the gameplay was a bit slow at times, it was always interesting, and I appreciated the fresh take on the genre.
Orange- As far as arena shmups go, this is a pretty good one, with a unique, constantly-growing enemy. What I really liked about it, though, was how well the theme worked. I really felt like I was being overwhelmed by the Vietnamese jungle, and would resort to anything to save myself. And then at the end, I felt kind of horrible. In a good way.
Sandy Evolution- As far as art style goes, this was among the strongest in the competition. The dirty, sketchy style gave everything a truly unique feel. The gameplay worked well, too, with well-designed levels and a well-thought-out power-stealing mechanic.

Congrats to the winners! Im a bit shocked about some of the results though down the line. Together Fight! Friendly Hat Spirit especially. I was hoping to do a bit better myself as well, but oh well Had a ton of fun with this contest and with all you. Thanks!

@Melly Thankyou, and I guess wasted work is a bit sour -- I mean I just would have rather gotten it done earlier....damn cottage with no computers... And yes, I will say it one last time, THANKKKKKKKKS. Especially to you Melly! You ran this very well and helped make this the best competition experience I've had.(and i'm sure many others as well) Had a blast.

Kinda bummed by my numbers even with no delusions of winning but that's to be expected. I'm kinda bummed I did so well, I spent a whole month on a game that should have taken me a day, and still ended up throwing it together at the last minute. And there are a lot of games that were more fun to me that got a lot less votes than I did... Oh well, in your face from 8th place, y'all!
