ROM CHECK: FAIL definitely felt like the most coherent and finished game in the bunch, in my opinion. OH THE IRONY!

well the only game that was totally out the competition rules won Smiley

congrats for the idea farb, i enjoyed the game, but i didn't vote it because i was sure you will win and because i think was better to have your game out the compo, because well, it's totally out the vgng thing

in what way did RCF go against the contest rules?  is it because the title didn't come from the VGNG?

Seems like the point was to get inspired and make something interesting.

Creative interpretations of the competition themes should be rewarded, I think.

Congratz everyone who finished their games/demos for this awesome competition! Also much thanks to everyone that decided to vote on my game  Kiss

I hoped for more votes but that's okay!  Hooray.
It's been said before, but I guess some games may have suffered from the 3 vote limit. My first pick was really easy but I had to think hard for numbers two and three. I'm still not sure if I made the best choice.

Anyhoo, I'm whining about a comp done for the funz so I'll shut up now  Tongue.

Can't wait for the next one Smiley

Congratchies everyone! I voted for Planet of the Forklift Kid, My 1st Skydiving Academy and Tiny Platypus Pimps... I didn't have the bandwidth to download many, so the only other games I downloaded were Corporate Moped Horde and Brain-Damaged Toon Underworld, both of which made me decide to change a vote or two, but I never got around to doing so. XD Oops!

Honorable mention to BDTU. While obviously an incomplete game, it simply floored me with its crazy "pixel art"-vs-"awesome graphic FX" look and twisted concept. It seems like the kind of game in which anything could happen (including the player having a seizure... in a good way). I can't wait for the full version! :D
