I haven't seen this linked here and nothing is coming up in the search, so:

http://www.gamepitches.com/

it's an archive for pitch and design docs for various games the guy has been collecting, some already available on the net (Fallout, Grim Fandango) and some exclusives (Spider).  It also contains scripts for a few shows too.  There's some interesting stuff on there, hopefully it's not dead, it hasn't been updated in a while.  Anyone know of any other sites like this?

That is a really neat resource, although I'm not sure what the pilot script for The Wire is doing there (as good as that show was).

Anyway, I've seen successful game pitches pop up here and there, e.g., David Edery's case study on 'Splosion Man (http://www.gamerbytes.com/2009/10/david_edery_speaks_about_the_d.php), but none in any single place. Part of the reason they're so scarce is that original IP is often self-funded and doesn't require the same level of publisher involvement, while the work-for-hire stuff is wrapped up in all sorts of non-disclosure agreements.

Our own work-for-hire-to-get-funding process hasn't required pitches just yet, but it's something we're planning to make available on our website once we start drafting up the PDFs.
