Added a "Browser" icon and also removed the outlines from the OS icons.

for browser apps (non-flash) i would recommend something around "JavaScript" - all the other technologies used are optional and some of them are technically not even html5 (canvas,...) but JavaScript will be in the mix.

There are plenty of web-based games that don't use JavaScript.

? Okay I guess if you do super simple games were all the logic is server-side. But otherwise... flash or javascript you need Smiley

There are plenty of plugin based solutions, other than Flash. Like Java applets, Java web-start, Native Client, Silverlight, Unity and Shockwave. (Even though most of those are complete crap Wink)

It is also quite possible to create complex games, based solely on server-side computations. I think many older games fall into this category, where you click links (pictures) and submit text and numbers.

There are also plenty of forum-based games, where the game logic is managed by the people playing. Ranging from simple word games, to complex role-playing. There probably sites built specifically around such games, too.

The fact that a game is created in UDK doesn't affect how it's played, right? It is compiled either to an executable or iOS app. The existing icons should be enough for the executables. Perhaps there could be a need for Android/iOS icons. But I don't think there is a need for a UDK icon?

And wow, the End User Licence Agrement (EULA) for UDK is pretty insane.

For UDK tutorials and such, it would be helpful.

Not sure if we have these yet, but I threw them together pretty quick.  I'm not sure which one you guys like better.  I'm leaning toward the XBLIG one since it's more specific.

I find the browser/flash logos too distracting when compared to the other logos, so I decided to have a go at an alternative.

Whilst I was at it I had a go at a couple of others.

And finally I redid the old icons to make their backgrounds transparent.

And for the sake of completeness I've added icons for the flash and unity web plug-ins.

I think it would be cool if there could be a screenshot/thumbnail beside each game here, rather than just go by a game's name. But the forum software probably wouldn't support it I guess.

Please add the iOS and Android logos, these platforms are great for indie development.
