I'll be travelling from Tottenham Court Road, and will have to get back to Mile End to sleep. I can get the number 19 bus to Islington (Angel station) and then the number 205 bus home. ...hopefully! Time to check google street view!

What sort of things are you interested in? The British Museum (free) is worth some time - they have an enormous amount of goodies snaffled from about the globe (Egyptian mummies/Totem poles/Easter island head...).
I definitely plan on visiting the British Museum and all the standard places. But I guess I'm especially looking for the type of stuff that's harder to find outside of a quick internet search. Stuff like art galleries with pop or contemporary art, secret comic book shops and arcades, and other sort of game developer/nerd hangouts. Well its not very obscure, but GOSH comics is a great little comic shop ( http://goshlondon.blogspot.com/ - right by British Museum).

I won't make it tomorrow, but if this becomes a regular thing I'm likely to show up sometimes.

I'll have to come along next month instead - this strike makes it look like it'll be a total pain getting back (I live quite a way out).

I so nearly took a detour to Islington from Broadgate, but actually I'm pretty shattered after the monday morning blues at work today :D
Nevertheless I am gutted that I don't have more money too, as things are more than a little bit difficult right now.
