Thanks delicious! I hadn't heard any opinions about these yet. It's reassuring to hear that they don't suck. MORAL BOOSTER + 5 motivational points!

I agree that it's looking good. I can work in Flixel, but I can't do it well, so look elsewhere

Haha, even you must admit these mockups of yours are gorgeous. Definitely keep updating us with mockups, even if you don't have a programmer at the moment, because these are real eye candy.

Delicious@ Nevah! I'm too modest. Greg@ But... but... there are puzzles and stuff! And also exploration. Games can be fun without explosions, right?

If the passive, atmospheric style is what you're looking for, I really recommend checking out Knytt Stories by Nifflas. This game really is an atmospheric adventure game that I came to love, and it doesn't have explosions or much of what you'd normally see as platforming essentials today. It wouldn't hurt to try and see what worked and didn't work in the game and try and add your own twist for Lighthouse. Anyways, just an idea for inspiration! Good luck with this, the mock-ups are really looking quite good.

I really like this one. It's simple, but the stars and the glow of the street lamp are very lovely.

Thanks everyone! Sorry for the lack of updates. School is a bitch. Just though I'd let everyone know I found a coder for this!

Love the diagonals, flat shading, and color selection. I think making a passive platformer is a fantastic idea, something like Knytt but more.
