Whoa--just saw this. Congratulations, Notch! That is fantastic news--for you (obviously) and for the rest of us too, since it gives us a glimpse of just how the deep the reservoir of potential customers for indie games can get.

I'm not sure.. The guy who will be leading it (I will be primarily on Minecraft) is starting mid November or so, then there's a bunch of initial development. It's very different from Minecraft. More "mainstream". And nerdier.

OH yeah, I have seen crazy things with mincecraft (16bit alu processor made in game!!! insane) i'm glad that such a borderline concept game break in really big! How much time before mainstream clone trying to tape into that sucess?
