Hello, all! I've been lurking for a while and thought I'd stop in and mention my game, Dusty Sprocket! Dusty's a side-scrolling steampunk RTS currently in development. We're using Unity right now, and loving it.

Anyways, look for a lot more updates here soon. If you want to check out day-to-day progress, you can always check out www.dustysprocket.com

Also, here's a little video I created that shows off the art direction I'm going for.

Sorry I don't have anything in the way of gameplay to showcase (we're still fleshing that out), but hopefully I'll post something soon!

Take care, and all the best!
Joel

That is very pretty, though it's obligatory to introduce yourself in the relevant thread before pimping your game.

My god.  If those backgrounds animate I'm sold.  The gameplay looks to be going in a rather familiar direction.

Absolutely gorgeous artwork! The many layered parallax scrolling made me all warm and fuzzy on the inside.  Smiley
The excellent art aside, some gameplay vids would be really nice!

Wow, thanks so much guys! If I can get the artwork to make people feel all warm and fuzzy, mission accomplished! Wink

The gameplay is something that's really coming along well. I'm sure I'll post all about it within the month.

Thanks again for all the feedback!

The game looks amazing! Are you doing the programming?

I really liked the "How to" videos on your site. For some reason, I just love watching other people drawing stuff Hand Thumbs Up Right

Those must be the most beautiful 2D scenes I've ever seen, the amount of layers is incredible! It's a pity that the animation isn't even half as awesome (it doesn't mean it's bad of course Smiley).

Nice art, it seems to have captured the most beautiful aspects of scenery.

Thank you all very much!

I have another guy doing all the programming, another doing the music/soundfx, and I'm doing the design, art, and story of it all.
