is a upcoming singleplayer/multiplayer sandbox game, that uses basic shapes, wires, and objects like buttons, levers, lasers, lights, and more, to create complex contraptions!
There will be plenty of things to do in the game, with game-modes such as Defense, CTF, Walk-the-Course, Race, and more! The game will be powered by the Fizzy Engine, my upcoming physics engine, with working string, liquid, and laser/light physics! The Fizzy Engine will hit the streets possibly in mid-2011, and Wyr may come in 2012. These may change, though. But here are the list of components and thought up game modes.
GAME MODES
Sandbox (build whatever you want, with no limitations!)
Defense (Defend the generator from a group of robots!)
Challenge (Uses custom levels)
Building contest
Deathmatch (Use your contraptions to destroy others) (Uses custom levels)
CTF (Use your contraptions to capture the other team's flag) (Uses custom levels)
Walk the Course (You build your contraption, then a little robot walks through it, and if he reaches the finish line, you win!) (Uses custom levels)
Calculate (Make a contraption that can calculate the listed math problem the quickest)
Obstacle Course (make a contraption to pass the obstacle course) (Uses custom levels)
Race (go into the fast lane with your contraption!) (Uses custom levels)
Carrier (Make a contraption able to carry the goal object to the end)
Sort (Make something to sort out a group of objects the quickest and most efficient way)
Puzzle (Solve the specified puzzle with your contraptions) (Uses custom levels)
Defuse (Defuse the bomb before it blows the city apart!)
Offense (Attack the incoming army of robots before they do major damage to your city!)
Freeze Tag (make a contraption with ice on it, then use it against others and freeze them!)
Survive! (Make a contraption that can survive the elements!)
Zombies! (Defend your city from the zombie horde, build at day, then fight off the zombies at night!)
COMPONENTS
Wires (Sends information through objects to use for their purposes)
Variable Screen (Displays variables sent to the screen through wires)
Button (When clicked, it sends the specified value through wires to other objects)
Numpad (when a number on the numpad is pressed while the numpad is highlited, the number is sent through wires)
Bomb (When it recives a number other than 0, it denotates)
Speaker (when it recives a value, it plays a sound selected by it's creator)
Pressure plate (When activated by entities in the gameworld, it sends a value through wires)
Teleporter (It sends entities to the second teleporter if linked)
Killer (A basic shape that can kill living entities on touch)
Basic Shape (A shape where wires and other components are put on)
Evil Robot (A evil robot only in the Defense and Offense game modes, they are unable to be placed by the player)
Scanner (a laser-emitting object that can send the distance the laser travels through wires)
Text Screen (Recieves text data from wires and displays it on itself)
Keyboard (When clicked on, all keyboard commands are disabled and you will be able to type on the keyboard, which is sent through wires)
Gates (Components that have different functions, such as subtracting or adding)
Motor (Can attach to two basic shapes and rotates when a value is recived)
Piston (Attaches to two basic shapes and oscillates when a value is recieved)
Light (Lights up when a value is recived)
Walking Robot (walks one direction when a value is recived. Only placable in Sandbox, and seen in the Walk The Course mode)
Ice (A simple slippery block in Sandbox, but freezes other players in Freeze Tag)
Chassis (A simple chassis with wheels, which can be used in any game-mode, but the invention is built on the chassis in most game-modes)
