I was wondering if people could do a small test for me. After seeing a lot on Minecraft and one of my favouriate looking games being 3D Dot Heroes on the PS3, I decided to try for a small test and see what I can get going.

Basically at the moment, the demo will load in a small Minecraft map.

The controls are:

Cursor: Move
L: Lighting
C: Camera Angle (changes to first person / isometric)
F: Fly
Q/A: Up / down in fly mode
1-6: Clip Distance

Known issues at the moment:

It is slow to load the map in. Also sometimes (actually more often than should) it will not load in a map segment properly.

There are also some issuses on rendering which I'm looking into. Being when moving around fast there are hiccups when a large number of vertex buffers are allocated. This is partly due to the occlusion culling which is happening.

The main thing I interested in, are
a) does it run,
b) what is the frame rate like? Shown in the title bar, FPS is limited to the refresh rate of the monitor.

At the moment, I'm thinking on doing a small Gauntlet MMO type game. Think Realm of the Mad God crossed with Minecraft. With complex Dungeon instances.

Here is the current demo.

Here is an image of Splunky in the engine.

runs just fine for me. never went below 60fps, but seemed to hang around the 80-120fps range.

when I first ran it, only took about 2 seconds for it to load the map. wasn't that bad.

Runs very well, i got around 200-300 fps and it skyrocketed to like 1200 briefly.
Map loaded fast but like you said sometimes not everything loads.

It ran at about 200-300fps, It did go to around 90 at one point though. The map loads quite fast but, not all of it is rendered.
