Phwoar.

Indie Kombat is a little site I cooked up as an excuse to make a Fishie / SYNSO hybrid game. It's a blog/battleground wherein indie devs fight each other for love and glory, and occasionally half interesting games get made. There's also an indie style hot-or-not powered by TIGDb called The Indiedome, because I am easily amused. The fourth fight finishes this weekend, and after that I have nothing lined up. I'm wondering - what should I do with it?

It's not hugely popular but it is kind of fun. I'd keep it running if I had more volunteers keen to compete, but most folks I know don't have the free time or aren't interested. Are there TIGers who'd like to give this a go, or can anyone think of a good use for it?

I think it's a cool event and I'd be disappointed if it stopped so soon.

So in the interest of making the world I wish to live in, I'll volunteer to be a participant. Or do I have to challenge someone?

Not hugely popular? Well, I love it! Been following it since the first battle.

I'd like to participate at some point, but I feel I'm not currently well known / skilled enough... so I really hope it continues until I feel otherwise! And then... then Scattle is going down.

This sounds amazing.  Maybe I can't make games, but I'll gladly grab a  Beer!

Is this what was going on with MrPodunky and his Streemerz 2?  I was kinda wondering what the heck that was all about.

I'd write a devlog about my current game, but I'm too busy making it.

I know it wasn't really set up as a tournament, but having previous winners (or losers!) go up against each other could be cool.

Oh hey GameJolt decided to hold their own Indie Kombats.  Neat!

http://gamejolt.com/community/forums/topics/joltkombat/686/

The "you need to be cool to partake in this" line does rub me the wrong way, but the actual rule it goes with doesn't seem bad.
