Windows BSOD when starting it, second time this year. "discache.sys" related according to the .dmp file that came with the crash. The PC was working normally but then I installed an Adobe Flash upgrade with Chrome opened and both programs weren’t responding anymore so I did an hard shutdown. After that I've getting an error when starting Windows 8, even in Safe Mode. Granted, I'm using a test version of Windows 8 (the RC) but it still sucks.  I'll check out if I can solve without formatting the OS altogether. |

My glasses broke. I'm in a town I don't know and the nearest person I know lives 3.5 hours away. My roommate is gone for the weekend. I have no car (nor would I drive it without glasses). |
