Hello my beloved TIGSource brethren.  I've been working on this game for awhile, and it looks like I'll be working on it for awhile more, but finally I am able to share with you some of the first footage we're publicly releasing!

YOUTUBES:

BLOGPOST:
http://retroaffect.com/blog/168/Snapshot_Trailer_/#b

For those of you who don't know, a prototype of Snapshot made in Multimedia Fusion 2 was in the IGF in 2009 for excellence in design.  Myself, Peter Jones, and David Carrigg have joined forces to make it into a "REAL" game, with a crazy engine and everything, and after a long period of silence I'm super excited to be able to share some of the first video footage of the game with the internet.

We'll be releasing more video footage of the game in the near future so STAY TUNED.

Gentleman

Your video looks great and it makes me want to play it right now! There are so much possibilities behind your concept...

Any release date to communicate by the way?  Wink

Whoa!

I first saw this game when the guys from Area5.tv interviewed you a year or two ago, when the game looked like Yoshi's Island.

The ammount of sex in this project has increased sexponentially.

Showing the prototype before the new version is pretty mind blowing how much it improved. Very nice stuff.

Yeah, we actually weren't even prepared to show the game in 2009, and we've been itching to get something out there about the game that shows that it doesn't look like Yoshi's Island anymore, haha.

Nice mechanic. I'm sure what's shown in the trailer is quite shallow compared to all of the gameplay possibilities!

And the presentation in the trailer is really nice.

I remember the prototype was one of my favorite entries in the 2009 IGF. Looks even more fantastic now! Looking forward to playing this and being wowed by the ideas and hard work gone into this. Smiley

I especially liked the parts in the trailer where you turned the picture upside-down, and where you took a picture of yourself.

Sexy graphics. I'm loving Will's soundtrack too. Smiley

The gameplay is way too arty and pretentious for my taste, though.

yeah that's a joke ^
