Drawing form: glasses off (so that I can only see large masses of light, dark, and color). Drawing detail: glasses on or face close to surface.
Glasses are easier to tolerate when I think of them more as a tool and less as my default source of vision.

Sometimes I wear glasses and sometimes I wear contacts. The options available in this post have confused me, and now I'm hurting myself.

I find it offensive there isn't the option to be a cactus and still wearing glasses only to look fabulous.

it's honestly weird how statistically overrepresented glasses wearers are in this poll

Weird? Most of us spend their days staring at computer screens. It's only natural to develop eyesight problems if you strain them. (I know there's often a genetic predisposition, but hours and hours of books and pcs certainly don't help!)

ACKSHUALLY, it's a little more complicated than that: http://time.com/3257927/you-asked-can-computers-ruin-eyes/

I don't want glasses because I'm too dum for them to even make me look smart What's the point if you don't look smart amiright
I look incredibly smart and I don't wear glasses. I am the most brilliant mind of my generation in fact. [X] Strongly Disagree

I had some for about 2 weeks. Then decided that such a marginal increase in sharpness wasn't worth the effort and returned them. My vision is really not the best, but I feel like glasses are very annoying, so unless I really need them to see properly I probably won't get new ones.

Looks like the closest answer for me is the Cactus w/Lasers, which I'm totally cool with. Had glasses for years, they drove me nuts. I zapped my eyes with lasers surgically and need them no more. Although I got to smell my eyes burning through the procedure, which was cool but unnerving?

I don't wear glasses but I do have some very nice Google ones that you can see in my profile picture.
This does remind me that I need my eyes tested though.
