Sorry, but I have had the busiest shittiest week in a while. Will try and be more active this week (hopefully that will save me (I think I'm next (<_< (>_>)))).

Now the brackets feel violated. Well done.

To proceed you must throw your Aperture Companion Bracket into the Aperture Science Emergency Incinerator.

For Science. You monster.

Yeah, sadly we don't have anything to show.  I'm not sure what to do.  Facepalm

Dragonmaw and I are the most productive! Or maybe the least. STARTING NEW BUSINESSES IS NO EXCUSE, DRAGONMAW.

(he said he was going to draw some new sprites the other day, pretty sure they'll look amazing when and if they're ever done)

((not like I've been doing that much either))

Sorry about my inactivity guys. Being here and not doing anything makes me feel very guilty, but I'm just loaded with homework, unable to get to everything like I used to. This means I have to prioritize, and WMP isn't very close to the top, unfortunately for me.

I have break in a week, and then I'll start a-programming and making graphics again. I will see you again in a week, if you don't kick me out (please don't, unless you have to).

I'm just some bloke. Going to go to Pasadena, CA, for four years so if you're over there gimme a shout-out. Will be cool to get to know some people.

what this compo needs is more minigames and quick-time events

(Just posted an update to the devlog for the first time in... two weeks!? But: screenshots, so it's okay.)

PRESS X

PUSH STICKS IN OPPOSITE DIRECTIONS

TURN OFF YOUR TELEVISION

GO OUTSIDE AND MAKE A SNOWMAN

(assuming you even live where it is snowing right now, or indeed even snows at all)

It's vice versa in my case: Christmas then exams, though I have had a ton of essays.

Hey it looks like I'm in the same boat as a couple of other people here. My job is... stressful, right now, to say the least (retail management at xmas! ugh). Together with having to get my grad school applications together (already missed one deadline) my time is pretty much eaten up by RL stuff, and I haven't been able to make any damn progress on my game.

I was totally afraid of the response I'd get from admitting this, but it looks like I'm not the only one  Shocked

Nah, you guys need not worry -- this is a busy time of year!

I'm not sure how to go about putting this on hold, though, since I don't know how many people would find that idea agreeable.

Regardless, the vote for this week is definitely not happening.

If anyone has something against waiting until January 3 for the next vote-out (thereby allowing everyone to take lots of time off wherever they so choose), say something (and explain yourself, you scrooge)

I think that instead of getting kicked out for not having pictures, they should just lose points. (Or gain points for each picture, limit 2 per week of whatever)

I concur with the post above, though positive incentives are better than negative ones. We have probably all found that negative incentives get you down, so you fail more, then you just get more negative incentives.

Oh dang.

That's pretty much exactly what I was thinking a while ago (+1 point, max 2 per week, per posted picture)

but right now there's "no incentive" and I kinda like that.
I will just be disappointed in you

(I forgive you, but I have to keep up the public appearance of being highly disappointed in you! -- I'll update the big first post with the sad news.)
