Pure Rocket Ownage is fast-paced dynamic action game in which player takes control of a tank. Tons of explosions and blasts is what define our game. You will be able to challenge your skills in various game modes such as Arena, Time Attack, Time Challenge, Survival, Race, and Base Defence. To make game more fun depending on how well you played levels you will receive certain mark and thus cash that you can spend in upgrade store in order to make your tank stronger.

I loved those old atari tank games (I think part of a game called combat?).. This reminds me of that era. What are your future plans with it?

You mean Battle City?
It'll have campaign and an arcade mode ( survive waves of enemies as long as you can ) and achievments.

Nope, Combat was the one, and man was that game great.  My favorite thing about that game was all of the different variants:
Invisible tanks
Invisible shots
Invisible walls
Bouncy Shots
etc.

And then all of the different combinations that were possible.

I'm not working with waxx anymore.
Now I'm writing it in SFML.

Don't worry, the time will come. Just keep doing your thing. Soldat haven't gathered attention in one month after being done. Smiley

You mentioned the game will have survival mode where enemies attack in waves. Were you inspired by Crimsonland?

I played Crimsonlad a few years ago but I think it was Zuma's second mode which inspired me (me father is playing it all the time).

There will be 6 modes:
-Tank race - no description is needed here Smiley
-Base defense - tower defense mode, where waves can destroy ur towers
-Survival
-Time Attack - you have to finish map (find exit) as fast as possible
-Time Challenge - you have to finish map in limited amount of time
-Arena - (on last screen shot)my favorite mode, bots are pretty intelligent, there are bonuses spawning in each 30 seconds.

oook, i'll try it the second i come home Smiley

you've made some nice progress since the start, but i'm not really fond of in-built default gm effects - they are generally overused all the way to being cheap. not in your game, in general.

base defense could prove to be interesting, if you merge tds with tower defense nicely Smiley

I'm not using built-in gm effects. All are custom made, but maybe on video there are some built-in, i don't rly remember. Smiley
