I don't like the graphical style very much. All the differences in design you see in the select screen are essentially lost when the game starts. And from then on, all you see are "yellow pixel mass" and "gray pixel mass". (Ok, I might be exaggerating, but you get the point)

...Considering you're the first person to say that (and everything else about the graphical style has been immensely positive) your comment doesn't hold much weight If you're only talking about the clarity of the actors then sure, they could use some touching up but I'm very happy with the style at large.

Of course, there are always people who don't like a particular thing Btw the technical term is low-res, not fat pixels.

I personally love the arts style - including the characters. I thought it was pretty cool how they were so small, and yet I could still make out what they were and what actions they were preforming. Don't change the pixelly-goodness!

This game is gorgeous to look at but (for me at least) incredibly unplayable because its unreadable.
I saw a bunch of yellow pixels jumbling about. Then they all turned into lying down pixels. and then I was a lying down blob of yellow pixels.
Then I won.

The graphics are quite nice, but they are a bit hard to read. And it seems overly difficult to do simple things like wall jumping.

Really neat! I like the pixelly graphics :] I'm thinking it would make a great multiplayer.
I tried the alpha of that zombie-survival thing on your site as well, and I've just got to say: That looks like gold! The animations and graphics reminded me slightly of Spelunky, and the gameplay was a bit like Minecraft (please add minerals and treasure to mine!). The game was way too easy, though; I just dug myself a hole and made a one-block opening through which I slayed all the zombies with the machete. I really want to see more when you've managed to put som flesh on its bones.

There's a devlog for Prelude here, glad you like it. I'm planning on expanding on both this and Prelude in the coming holidays, as I'll have a bunch of free time (around the raucous partying) and that may or may not include multiplayer for RvR. Here's hoping, but it's still on the drawing-and-not-working-board.
