haha I think it's silly you guys are having such a row about the devlog icons. they're functional, that's really all that matters. who really gives a fuck what they look like?

This is probably the most entertaining and heated thread in the whole devlog section. I personally prefer the icons as they are. Concerned

I just like looking at all the different ones that come up. I don't actually care if they get changed or not.

Reading this lowered my opinion of you. Undecided

Oh come on Derek... You should know by now not to take anything I say that seriously. It was sarcasm.

Yes, red does contrast with blue, but orange is currently being used as the contrast color around the rest of the site:

That's why I find the choice of red odd as opposed to orange.

Yep, I was actually going to suggest orange, especially since it is the artistic contrast to blue (and works wonderfully in a blue/orange/white color scheme)

But I still really like the level of polish on those blue ones we made Sad

Just dragging this back to the front because it was the best of all before people got all complaining about the background. (the one on the far right) Maybe a bit brighter.

Just my two cents, but I don't really like the ones that change color or even break away from a monochromatic color scheme. I don't think it's going to look right...

I quite like that, especially the background shade. Although honestly I'd prefer just a solid block rather than a shiny one. They kind of look odd where everything else is solid colour.

I think what we really need is a devlog icons subforum, where people can work on their devlog icon sets comfortably without having to jostle one-another for space as they do here, and can signify their progress by marking their respective threads, as their icon set moves from inception to maturity, with one of the following :

0%
10%  Crazy
