Greetings!

Hello! My names Nathan, I'm the newest member of the sexy, hip, and happening We Are Error team. I am starting the teams second project as head writer/developer and artist (with the help of Timbo) I'm looking for a programmer to do the coding. I'm looking for a programmer who is able to work in XNA or Flash (Flash Punk or Flixel will be fine of course). The idea for the game is to take the classic gameplay of the game

and give it a modern day update with a funny plot, beautiful world, and loveable characters. I'm interested in working with someone who's possibly up for working on future projects together too (although this isn't a must). I also like long walks on the beach and live for the weekend...sorry, starting to sound like I'm on a dating website.

Anywho, here are some mockups for the game, obviously just to give you a basic idea of the visual style I'm working with, if it floats your boat sent me a PM!

THESE ARE MOCKUPS

Welcome to the coup Nathan, though I am neither a programmer or a fan of edible solids, I do like the mockups, and from what I have been told, you are quite an excellent writer! Soo as you guys welcome me into We Are Error for the time being, I'll be the first to welcome you to the TIGSource land.

The mockups are looking really briliant I gotta say I flipped my wig when I saw them. And if the humour you're aiming to go for is within this project, I imagine it's going to be awesome and hilarious. Can't wait to see more, oh.. I do hope you find a programmer here, I am sure if you poke and prod around people one will respond :D

Wowza, they are looking pretty swell (am people allowed to say swell anymore?), however, alas, for I am only a c++ dude, with a truckload of exams on the way.

Still, nice mockups! I hope they get turned into a game soon enough, they've got a great style behind them...

As the Mockups Nathan has posted show place holder sprites...and place holder backgrounds...and place holder place holders...here are some concept sprites I've knocked up for the game, they won't be in the game (well some may some may not) but to give potential programmers an idea of the sprite style the game will use:

Team B is still looking for a programmer for this sexy game peoples!

Those mockups were just placeholder art? My Word! They look super cool as they are, I think; they really remind me of Samorost, which has one of the most visually appealing graphics styles of pretty much any Flash game that I've played.

I decree that the art in the first post is now the final artstyle.

Shhh compliment nathmc too much and I'll never hear the end of it! A team leader with an ego can destroy worlds! Or at least their ego tells them they can! =D

Anywho, the back drop visual style will be staying somewhat the same, and the pixel art will still be by me, but the back drop Photoshop work by Nathan is from an old project we failed at together, and the characters are from the pixel sheet I run at shoobop.com. Although they are mockups they are quite accurate to the feel of the game :-)

If anyone knows a bored coder tell them nathmc offers spooning and warm cuddles in the winter in return for their epic skills! Plus obviously a split on any money the game makes ^_^
