While I do have a working prototype, most of this art isn't in game yet. Currently I have a programmer rewriting my dungeon generation code, and an animator working on the rigging/animating for the fighter. Once they are done with that I can drop the art in and record some video.
I'm also working on some simple animations for the main menu screen, if I can make some decent progress on that this week, I'll try to put up a video of it this weekend. It'll also contain some of the music that Sam has been making, which is turning out great!
Thanks for the encouraging words!

The game looks AMAZING. All of the art, I love it. The level mockups are flawless. Can't wait to be able to play this!

The audio quality in the teaser wasn't the best, so here is a link to the track itself, composed by Sam English: Main Menu Track

Hey Chris, I just had to pop in and break my long hiatus from posting here to say, those models look amazing. I really like the main characters thus far, and look forward to seeing more!
I was wondering if you could post a wireframe for me, or at least tell me about your process in making them, maybe not in here but in PM. I've been trying to get back to 3D modelling, but progress on the model I have is going pretty slowly. Texturing will be an entirely new nightmare.
Keep up the awesome work man.

Here's some work in progress shots of the archer character: I like to keep a library of body parts from past models I've made at various poly densities. It makes creating new models much faster when I can lego-brick them together and tweak the verts to fit the style. I made the fighter first, then used the base mesh for the other three characters. Let me know if you have any questions or want to see shots of anything else.

Absolutely fantastic stuff, man. I love how the environment props have a retro feel to them even though they're in 3D, thanks to the way you drew highlights on the textures. Awesome work!

Haha thanks! Very little is animated yet so there's not much interesting to show. But I just got one of those $40 Messiah licenses for animating, so I'm looking forward to giving that a try!

I SAW THIS LAST WEEKEND. It has colors and a puzzle-battle mode. This game is going to rule pretty hard.

Thanks for the kind words Dongle! I wish I would have had the music in, the stuff Sam English has been doing for the game is pretty awesome.
I haven't posted in a while, but progress is still being made. I'll post some new arts this weekend. The puzzle battle mode in particular has improved tremendously since the image in the first page of the thread.

Okay, as promised, here is an update to the visuals of battle mode. No characters are in yet since they aren't animated, but hopefully they will start getting rigged within the next few days. Before: After:
