Whoooooo! Sorry I haven't been around to answer questions today - I've been laid out pretty badly by a nasty stomach virus. Re: deadlines/updates - as Melly explained (thanks!) I'm pretty lax about people turning in entries a wee late or providing small fixes/updates after the deadline. And if you need hosting, just ask. The entries are looking hot hot hot! Congrats, everyone! Awww, get better soon Derek! Also, The Awesomesaucer has landed. I repeat, the Awesomesaucer has landed. I love this place.

Wow so many great entries, congratulations to everyone! It will take me a while to test out all these. Also it would be a good idea to leave feedback to all entrants when possible.

Yeah, even though the feedback given to TIGCompo entries is usually pretty damn good, let's kick it up a notch!

We can't know until Derek actually sounds the horn, since it seems a couple of people are still posting last-minute ones. It seems to have stopped for a while though, so I think I'll go count. Counted around 49 entries. Holy crap.

Is Derek still bedridden? He should probably have announced the end of the deadline by now.

Wow it's incredible, there are like several hundred entries this time (I stopped counting after a while). Here are the entries I could notice, although I'm pretty sure that I have forgotten a couple of them, but I couldn't go through the list once more so please add your game if I have forgotten it. -Sesame Seeds -Test pilot -The Adventures of Charles Dumbbell -everyone loves active 2 -K2 -Rescue: The Beagles -minus -krebswelt -Apples and Oranges -King of Public Transit -Loboton -Self Destruct -Apple tree - feed the hungry birds -Artificial Nature -Wall of the Words -Dyson -dropTD -ZICZAC -Laser Bunny - Adventures in the Alien Death Mines! -Conway's Game of Bigotry -Faith, to a certain Degree -Apophenia -Space Game : Mujakwi -sin(Surfing) -Running Bomb -The Germinator -Because it's fun, Fay -madah's PG Game -Night Raveler and the Heartbroken Uruguayans -Watson -Biocosm -Space Cat on Mutant Planet -Darby's Run -Legend of the Tomb of Fate -Elephantastic -MMORPG Tycoon -Large Hydron Collider -Swarm -Transport -Compendium -crime city -My Digital Self Expression -RND Game in Space *** !!! *** -X-Treme Cave X-Plorer Deluxe Professional Edition [DEMO] -enelin 10 -box breaker -Last Colonists -Space Shot -Mazemup -conway dodging/shooting, no title -Diaspora -PAC MAZE -Evolution SHMUP -Text Adventures Without Swords volume 5
That's 54(?) entries. I've included all threads that declared their game finished and produced a downloadable game But there were a couple of thread were , although the authors had given up on the competition, they had managed to put up a playable demo and I think these might be worth checking too, especially since there's a strong "experimental" vibe to this compo. -Triagulon -Love Crusader: Powerful Carnage Gunner -Heatvision Zombie Showdown -A Punnett Shooter -Mechanical Psycho -Space Rage Truckin' Deluxe
If you notice a game I forgotten please mention it thanks

Whoa, thanks again, moi! Dear Lord, that is a lot of entries. So what do you guys think about number of votes? I know some people wished they had more last time (you were allowed up to 3 votes for the VGNG compo). I think 10 might be a bit much, so I'm proposing as a general rule that you get 1 vote for every 10 entries, so you would get 5 votes for this one. Opinions? Also, can I still make a last-minute tweak?
Sure, go ahead.
