By all means, move along! I'm already typing this out of a hole in my backyard where I have been hiding since yesterday.  Tired

I thought what you were doing was nice. Smiley Though, there is an interesting point of when a game is "finished". I know that I consider CuteGod finished, but nowhere near as polished as a for-pay game. Its still a dozen revisions from a polished release.

All Entries from A Punnett Shooter --> Everyone Loves Active 2
All Entries from Everyone Loves Active 2 --> RND Game in Space
All Entries from RND Game in Space --> ZICZAC

This is mostly for me, but I thought I'd post this up here in case other people want to use it.  I don't know if it's already been done (I didn't feel like spending an hour reading all the other pages in the thread).  If it hasn't, feel free to re-post this somewhere else.  It's a list of all the downloadable locations of every game, both finished and unfinished (because I'm insane).

NOTE: I wasn't sure how to differentiate between "Finished" and "Unfinished" but both are downloadable.  Unfinished usually means the author intends to (or at least implied that he or she will) release future versions.  [Demo] (for the most part) is classified under Unfinished.  Also, I don't have a MAC or Linux, so all are the Windows .exes.

NOTE2: This only goes to show that good compos=great results.  Keep up the visionary compos and get those designers to stretch their skills...

Cheers for that Beer!

As it happens I complied more or less the same list yesterday, and I've been playing through the games - I'll upload the lot later on today so that people can get them all with one download Smiley

Nice work. Though, could you take out the [FINAL MIX +] thing from my game (Diaspora). It wasn't really part of the title, just a joke because I kept declaring it finished and then finding more things to add/fix.

And wasn't Krebswelte finished?

Yes, I'm pretty sure it was, even though it's a bit buggy.

Also, just waiting for Derek to start the proper voting in order to start my secondary award gig.

Looks like the archive is going to be in or about a 200Mb rar - any ideas where I can reliably upload something that big? Right now I'm thinking willhostforfood and splitting the archive in two...

I can mirror the file and goldbrick said he could as well. i've sent you a PM terry, but there was some kind of error so I don't know if you got it. email me or "hit me up", in the parlance of our times, on irc if need be.

Any idea when you might be finalising the monster archive? I'm just on the verge of posting a patched/tweaked version - it's pretty much done bar some random crash that I just introduced....

Maybe an hour or two? I'm on a poor connection at the minute so it's going to take a while to upload Smiley Your entry is space cat, right? Should be an hour or two, then, that's in the third part Smiley

Highly anticipating it :D
Been wanting to gather them all up for quite some time now, but I never really get to it. This really saves me a lot of time.
Oh and besides being highly anticipated, it's also highly appreciated of course Wink

Looks like this is going to take a while, but I've started so I might as well finish: Part one is up!

TIGSource PGC Entries Part 1 - "A Punnett Shooter" to "Everyone Loves Active 2" (63Mb)

Hopefully by the time you've gone through all that part two will be up Smiley

By the way, mirrors appreciated - I'm on shared hosting!

[edit: I should mention that I've included everything I could, even demos and concept builds, just to be safe. Chances are not everything in the archive will be on the ballot)

Terry, please remember to include a readme with the link to Night Raveler & the Heartbroken Uruguayans...otherwise people will skip it Smiley.

Thanks!

er, sorry, but it's kinda too late... I haven't done that for the other online games - I don't think you've anything to worry about though - it's pretty clear that a shortcut in a directory means that it's an online game Smiley
