Hey everyone!  The new game I've been working on (not this one) just hit Xbox Live Indie Arcade right before Christmas (naturally, when I was away from my computer).  Astroman is, yes, another game featuring that classic cliche, a guy lost in space trying to fix his ship.  Besides exploring unknown worlds and tromping all over the native fauna, you also get to steer your ship from planet to planet, and your ship is actually affected by the upgrades you pick up.  The levels are huge and you'll have to explore them carefully to ensure you find everything.

Youtube Trailer:

A review that came up very quickly: http://indienerds.com/wordpress/?tag=astroman

Screen Shots (these are shrunk--the game runs at 720p)

But I hear you already--no Xbox 360?  As long as the 360 version does well enough to suggest that a PC version would do well too, we're considering a PC version.  But that won't do you any good right now, will it?  So in the meantime, we've made our tough-as-nails one-button action title, Sky Puppy, absolutely free to play!

Right here! http://www.starquail.com/SkyPuppy/

We're going to get this fixed soon, but if you get an error trying to install it, try un-checking the "Create Start Menu Item" in the install menu.

Oh, awesome!! I've been itching to play Sky Puppy for a while, but didn't want to jump through the crazy DRM hoops again.

I've been playing Astroman all evening, it's a lot of fun! :3

Game looks fun! I'll give it a try one day. At the moment I have no points. Did you use XNA for this?

Yup, but I think all XBLI games have to be in XNA.

Glad you guys are enjoying it! Smiley

The soundtrack is now available in its own separate download, for free even!  Check it out if you like!
