A skeleton I'm working on for my GameBoy Colour homebrew. It's still missing one hand, but it's almost final so why the hell not? It's comprised of a set of tiles (Black, Dark Grey, Light Grey, White), and two sprites (Red, ---, ---, Transparency (Neon Green)). The pose is based off the Male Zombie from Mother 3; EDIT: I should mention this is for my workshop thread so head over there if you want to give some criticisms.

Everything's pretty great except for his left arm. It's a little weird with its motion - like it's shrinking or something. It never gets any further forward, like the right arm does. -CROSSPOST!- I'm not sure if this has been done before, but a pixelly third-person shooter kind of game idea. THE WAR AGAINST THE POTTED PLANTS HAS BEGUN. The game's got a red tint that should probably not be there...

Rough run animation for the lumberjack game I'm working on: Hello The legs look really nice, but the rest of it could use a lot of work. For a sprite this large it is important to animate all of it. Duplicating the whole body and head through every frame with superficial changes (normally the proper way of animating something as far as I'm concerned) doesn't seem to look very good here. To fix this, you really need to have the shoulders and body turn with the arm motions more, and to have the bob on the head flow smoothly. Bob the had, eyes, and beard separately to get it looking nice. The tip of the beard doesn't need to sway so strangely if you make the beard bounce up and down some more. I realize it's a rough, but I'd also recommend reworking the arms a lot to make sure they stay the same length and follow logical motion It's a good start for the anim and I like the character that is a very nice-looking skeleton

Kramlack: That is some mighty fine work, if only you were doing this like 20 years ago, you could have been huge on the GBA. Updated VW Bus scene.

Yeah, I really liked Resident Evil Gaiden. It was a mediocre game, but it tried some new things with the gameplay, definitely something I'm keeping an eye on as I work on my own game.

Yeah, this is great Warrior of Chaos (yes, I'm bad at pixel-art ) I don't know. I saw the painted version but I like this more. Something's wrong with his stance/legs.

I like it! Very springy. New run cycle is basically the old run cycle with better hair and scarf bounce. EDIT: Oh yeah and a hastily built robot boss, too.
