Well it is pretty rough and jerky right now so it's hard to tell,

But one thing that I notice is that maybeeee just maybe his head tips too much.

That and his lower half is all messed up. his torso is super long and he has short lil legs and tiny feet.. But maybe that's how you designed him.

But He's nice looking and I'm sure you're heading somewhere awesome with him. He reminds me of this:

I'm working on a game with my girlfriend doing the art. She has more of a background in illustration so we were wondering if someone could give her some feedback on the main character sprite so far!

The grey background is just temporary, it'll be transparent and it's meant for pixeljoints default grey background.

Shit this is looking cool.
The blood should be a bit darker and dripping if there's that much of it, and blend a little more unless he's just gently put his hands inside a fresh cadaver. Actually rendering the shape of the claws would be an idea too.

@Kyuur: Good start! It's looking quite flat though, and the pose is very stiff. Try to make her more relaxed in the pose and add some feeling of weight. Make the pose a bit uneven so that both arms and both legs are visible.

Hiya, some critique please?
This is a WIP, traditional animation to be turned into pixel art. It's really rough still.

Do you see any parts that seem fundamentally flawed, or could be improved? Thanks!

The crotch of his pants is practically at his knees, which looks odd because the pants don't seem baggy/oversized otherwise, and his right foot doesn't really exist.

I was hoping to try something more difficult than no clothing/skin-tight clothes, hence I somehow decided to give him a zoot suit. I'm just hoping the pants will look somewhat stretchy. I'm not looking forward to doing folds and creases... :/

@Alec S. Nice tiles. Grass looks a little thick on the areas by itself, but the rest is pretty good.

I really dig this. The colors pop a lot more than the blue and white version, and he has a much clearer stance.

Thought I'd bump this up, it didn't get as much shine as it should.

Waist is really low and torso is very long, and I think that's why I love this. Can't wait to see this rendered!  Grin
