My progress so far. Maybe in a few weeks I'll have enough stuff to go looking for a programmer.

The eyeball is obviously inspired by Chasm (but it's so hard to make a floating eyeball look original :S) and the font is quite similar to the one used in the FireEmblem GBA games.

@skittle - Oh, that's cool! The enemies don't look that menacing (but I'd guess it'd be hard to do at that size). That made me think that someone should make an Animal Crossing-like except with dungeons and monsters instead.

I think the pixel clusters are the worst part about it...   Looks messy and unfinished (That's clearly because he's working on it).

Not my best work but I wanted to make a video so made this.

I was fooling around with how to make it look more gloomy so I made a circular gradient and overlayed it on everything. Looks a bit more dungeony I think.

Also made some new enemies and stuff! (that still need working on)

Uh oh, that's no good. I think that may be a problem with my palette, perhaps I should make it a bit less saturated and not so happy looking. I'll fool around with it ta see what I can come up with! Thanks for the important feedback!

If you want to polish it more, I'd say the knees "snap" a bit too much, and the total lack of rotation on the sword looks unrealistic (she would have insanely strong wrists if she managed to do that).

Also it's a bit weird that she doesn't have any feet at all. Superbrothers did a similar style, but their's was a bit more consistent - only the body had any size to it. The arms and legs were all one-pixel large. However, this looks a bit weird since she has visible legs and knees, arms and elbows, as well as hands and fingers. So, the lack of any feet at all is a bit weird. Nice animation work, still. I like the hair and skirt movement, though the front pixels seem to move a TON, haha.

I kinda like the no hands or feet pointy lil stubbs look it makes her seem dainty.
