I'm trying to learn pixel art, so I did this little tram for some reason... feedback welcomed  Embarrassed
Maybe I'll use it for some game eventually.

It's quite nice, perhaps add more shadows and highlights, unless that's your intended design. It has an early pokemon
GB/GBA cross aesthetic to it. Maybe check out the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon sprites if you want to pursue a style in that direction
Smiley

Thanks! Not sure where I am going with that, just had an idea of a little metro/tram station with isometric zelda-like view.
Will check out that pokemon game, that's a good suggestion.

Finally got a background done for my game, but I'm not sure how I feel about it.

it would probably be easier (and a lot more worthy of this thread) if you worked in a much, much lower resolution.
aside from that, you should probably pay more attention to your shading, and the way light reflects off objects onto other things. right now there isn't a lot of depth in your background which makes it look really uninteresting.

some pixel art reinterpretations of the characters from World to the West, the game i'm currently working on

tiny 3 color+transparency shared palette versions of the crew (floors would be plain and very light to make the transparency work)

and the other pictures too

i dont think i posted these here. some ffxiv characters

it's a little noisy but i adore the flat style so much and it lends itself so well to animation. I don't even like idle animations that much, but many of these are absolutely lovely

yeah pretty much the biggest issue those sprites gave me was trying to figure out how to compress the Incredibly Busy Designs of ffxiv characters into pixel art

i'm not. completely satisfied with the result but what can u do
learn as you go and all that

heres a different thing

Some animation test. It feels like I've missed one hitstop frame somewhere, but I have no idea how to fix it. Maybe someone can point out what is off here.
