Old platformer mockup.

Beautiful!

Here's something I made not too long ago.

gameboy classic emoji
Cute but for emoji purposes unfortunately not very good; because of the color combinations, resolution and the screen's tiny proportion it actually takes work to distinguish one face from another if one even realises there's a face in there and not just a gameboy emoji.
Perhaps consider the same idea but higher resolution and with the bottom half cropped out or something

this is very pleasant

I was going for "cynical and angst-y with an aesthetic of mild, dry cuteness", but I'll accept "pleasant"  Wink

Haven't posted in a long time.
Did a lot of things in the last months, mainly posting them on my twitter, but thought I would share a few of them here:

Adding some smear to existing frames should do the trick. I think it's completely fine as is though. Cutest bat sprite I've seen

Thank you! I kind of based it on the Australian fruit bat, which is a really cute animal. I wanted to design something a little different to the kinds of vampire-ish bats you tend to see in video games.  Coffee

Here's some of the fonts that I've made this year for Game, Graphic and Editorial Design. Sharing the ones with extended Latin and Latin A Characters and True Type format.

Tools used: Grid Paper, Pencil, Photoshop, GraphicsGale, FontLab Studio and BitfontMaker.

You can Download the .ttf's at: https://arcade.itch.io/

Regards.

From one pixel font maker to another- awesome! Really solid stuff. I'd nitpick on a few things, but you didn't ask for critique.
But really overall you have a great skill at making these Smiley

Question: any tips on getting FLS for cheaper? Or at least any tools you'd recommend (aside form BFM2)?

Noice

Can I convince anyone to give programming ligatures a try? Like in this FixedSys Excelsior variant?

https://github.com/kika/fixedsys

OFFTOPIC:
I freaking love monospace fonts that experiment with ligatures, btw.
https://github.com/tonsky/FiraCode
https://github.com/i-tu/Hasklig
http://larsenwork.com/monoid/

That last one, monoid? That has one of the coolest features I've ever seen in a monospace font: using ligatures to fix kerning while maintaining monospace behaviour. Wonder if that makes sense with 9x9 pixel fonts...
