abstract scene to test out some 8x8 tiles I've been working on
criticism appreciated; also appreciated would be any good examples of sand tiles in sidescrolling games- especially low-res tiles, as that's a wall I've been banging my head against for a long, long time without much success

looks mysterious and intriguing.
As for sands, I suggest you have a look at Fury of the Furries, especially the second area (lagoon levels)

Here is either a enemy spawn portal, or lightning gun projectile. Either way, it is designed for the space shooter segment of the game.

(4x size)

Looks good.

The last frame before the end mockup needs a green tick in the right corner.

I feel like a chump compared to all of you, but I do like indulging in pixel art. :D

Here's some random things:

A pixel dump.

An rpg base I tried making. Sad

Portraits for two characters from my solo project.

NPC clothes for my main project with friends.

Some 12x18 critters for a minimal Dwarf Fortress tileset. There's dozens more where this came from but these are a few of my favorites. I'm gonna vectorize them later!

@SeanNoonan
Cool stuff. This will add some personality to your greenlight page.

@PypeBros
Wow, this is really well-animated! I definitely agree with Job about the Rayman vibes. I can see a tiling error when you bounce up, though. The animated part of the water separates from the black and the background shows through.

@ANtY
Looks like an alien desert! The addition of foliage was a nice direction.

@supajackle
I love your art style so much. The little animal people are cute. It's what reminded me to post this.
