Made a new asset pack as well as a little test demo, where I popped in all the assets to see how it'd look.

they've both got really strong mood for sure

I really want to play what I see in those screens

Then that's a shame, that both games are suspended in production Cheesy

One of the NPC's for my next game. I'm going with the "hi-res" version (the guy on the left).

@cynicalsandel - Yeah, your stuff's really crisp. Nice work!
@aamatniekss - Very nice work on your pics too - very moody. Very nice work on restricting your use of colors, as well! Also like that mock-up - those colors are excellent!

Just a quick little 4 frame walk animation I made last night and of course randoms for a small project I'm working on.

Looks great except I feel the slow tilting of the background elements looks like screen tearing. I think it would look better if the bottom-limit of movement speed was higher.

I find the slow motion interesting, personnally. But indeed, there is some tearing effect that should be addressed. I wonder, since there is little contrast on the vines part and more contrast on the leaves, what if the tilting through rotation-like algorithm was only applied to the vines and we kept axis-aligned pixels for the leaves that would just follow their attachment point as if they were sprites ?

Oh well, I was just using this for a demo test, to test out the assets. It's the inbuilt GM:S sprite rotation.
