Did a twitch stream and asked the chat to give me ideas and suggestions for creatures, this is what came out of it. Timelapse of the first 5 creatures

I genuinely want to make a short Zelda 1 style game Love this style! An obvious upgrade while maintaining the look and feel. I've been wanting to do something similar for quite awhile, but can never find the time, haha.

Thanks, dude. I finished the whole Z1 map last night. This is the graveyard and surrounding area: I'm thinking I'll either expand this (desert? water? ruins?) or move onto other 8bit games (Castlevania?). I do these pixel art exercises because they're fun and relaxing when I'm not working on The Moon Fields, but I think I'm at a point where I'd really love to do this and turn it into a side game project - maybe a side story to The Moon Fields. Is TIGSource still a good place to find collaborators for that kind of thing?

Made some pixel trees by drawing some leaf clusters and stamping them out to make the tops. Its a really quick way to work and make lots of variations. Could use some cleaning up I think but how does it look to you guys?
