haven't posted anything here in ages  Embarrassed

here's a new enemy, that will float somewhere, in the depths of havoc zone -
excuse the choppy movement of the bullets in the mockup... just didn't have the time for more inbetween frames.

then we have the new playership - it is slightly bigger than the old version, so it's more easily recognizable, and it leaves a bit more room for details.

then we have "the mystery ship"! Who could be the pilot of this agressive looking fella?

and here's kinda an exclusive for TIG, since it's still a WIP -
for every level, I'm doing a smaller scale piece of the background,
to experiment with the colors and materials we want to create.
this is a small portion of the enviroment we want to deliver in level 5.

The whole "insect mandibles" vibe of this animation is totally sweet  Kiss

following a post of mine regarding original vs. ripped/edited art in games I decide to end my ripping/editing days and try something original.  This isn't entirely original, but it's not really an edit either.  Having no experience drawing the human form I used the Soul Nomad sprite on the right as a guide for my original sprite on the left.

Not really happy with the legs, but I like the look of her cargo shorts.

This is a concept for a platformer game about a girl who spends all her days running around in the woods surrounding her grandmother's cottage.

No you haven't, you bastard.

Seriously though, when is this game going to be done (no rush)?

I have really, really dug what I have seen so far. Keep up the great work, man!

tehe - it'll take a while. It'll be done, when it's done. We will take our time to make it one of the most compelling Shoot em Up experiences evar. but if I had to ballpoint a estimate release, I'd say fall 2009. Hopefully, if everything goes as planed, some people of our team including me, will be present at GDC 09, with a playable alpha.

The next pixels of the project I'll be posting, will look pretty... neat ; D

 Shocked

Do you eat all cute things? Puppies and pandas and hamsters and RPG Maker 95 games made by 11 years-olds, do you eat them too?
