Thanks! It's just for artistic purposes. I've only been taught in Actionscript, when it comes to anything near Games Programming, and, well, I can't even remember how to make a button that works!  Big Laff
I nearly had a job working as the Pixel Artist for some ranom German on DeviantArt, would have been moneyless, but it sounded fun, at the time.

I like the sisters, but the little one's hair is hard to see against a white background. I'm interested in seeing what they look like against the background of your project, especially how the pot fits in with the decor/background. Is it an interactable object, or just for decoration?

I think the pot needs more volumetric dithering. Right now the pot has those vertical dark lines which you might be trying to represent some kind of design with but I'd do that in another color and focus on making the shading express that the object is more spherical. You don't have a lot of pixels to work with but you can amend that by adding a few more colors. If that goes against your palette conventions then just try working on with that dithering a bit more.

I think dithering would just muss up such a small sprite. Maybe just use flat shading, if any.

0r like ,if you were trying to convey a stripèd texture or something, maybe offset the hilights from the shadows and extend them further into the body for more volume?

Guys, I'm in need of help. Suddenly my art "skills" have gone mad and created things with different styles.



The house is in a different style from the tree and the background and so on. Basically the house, the tree and the background are my problems. Looks like one of them is way better in quality than the rest, and etc.

I dont even know why i'm asking for help here since this is mostly a problem related to my skillz, but maybe some of you have tips for me or something.

I hope.

I think the background needs the most work; the dark blue mountains are the fist thing I see, when that should be the characters and the actual game level. You could use less saturated colors to bring out the foreground. The building and trees are a bit trickier to define; I think the building looks more stylized than the tree, and is made up of very clear shapes. Just my two cents, so... *shrug*

Here's another animation for Commedia. I feel like I'm getting the hang of this now.

I agree, the house looks like it's been unfolded, and you can see two walls at the same time, but almost straight on. Also. The trees just don't fit.
They need big, billowy, fanning fronds!
Foliage is fun, and, should cover a lvery large surface area. Wink

Hmmm. I can see what you're trying to do. But. I think that more angle horizontally, and not skewing it vertically, would do the trick.
I might be wrong, though.
Let's see what the others think.

I do think I'm going to need to work on my pixel arting skills some more. Problem is, I have trouble making myself use more than a few colors in my art. Gonna have to work on that. :<
