[Snabap]

Hello everyone. To start off my membership at TIGSource I'd like to show you all a game that I recently began to work on.

I feel that many rape-sim games on the market nowadays are unrealistic, poorly done, and more often than not a little creepy! So I decided to make a fun and high-quality rape game. It is called Snabap's Rape Jamboree.



(Sorry for the mockup!) As you can see, it's going to be much more realistic than the sad attempts at simulation we have now. I am making a hugely complex system that determines what you are looking at and how you've moved recently, allowing other characters to react like how people in real life would - say, for instance, if you stared at a lady for a long time, she would become uncomfortable and probably make an attempt to get out of the situation. I will have real screenshots up soon, and hopefully even a video of me showing off some things the game has.

Actually, this isn't me, but it's funny that I was just talking about doing this. Dammit...

EDIT: HEY wait! His name looks mighty suspicious... Snabap?? Flip it around and it's only two letters off from phubans Methinks a troll is afoot! I'd be far more subtle in choosing a pseudonym, I assure you!

EDIT 2: Hmm, further investigation reveals that he name-dropped me in his introduction thread, which means obvious troll is obvious! Thinkest thou that I, legendary troll phubans, would not be able to see through such a paltry attempt?! Ho ho ho... The jig is up; reveal yourself, troll!

EDIT 3: Well, this is a relief... Now that I know this thread isn't real, I don't have to worry about anyone actually beating me to a rape sim

I don't know what phubans is talking about. It must be a really weird coincidence or something. I'm sorry, but please don't fly off the handle at me. Or is this some weird TIGSource in-joke that I'm not aware of...?

I have heard of the Serial Killer Roguelike, and I can assure you that I'm not a troll (at least I don't think I am...)

Uh I totally was not expecting the response I'm getting , hopefully I'm still allowed to finish my game and everything.

Looks to me like you just want lots of attention and figure that a controversial subject matter is the quickest way to get it. Unless of course you are about to unveil a masterful treatise on the human psyche, and explore in depth what could possibly drive someone to commit the unspeakably horrific act of rape. But I doubt it.

It's perfectly within your rights to develop this game. Being able to do whatever the hell you want is just one of the benefits of being indie.

But just remember that not all folks will take kindly to what you're doing here.

I think between the porn avatar, the "My favorite games are Japanese dating sims and horror adventures.", and now this rape game, you aren't really earning a lot of good points here.

To be honest, I don't really see what all the hates about, but I think the general consensus is that you're some weird anime rape loving guy.

however, if this is a devlog, he really should provide screenshots or some information about the game other than what it's about, what he did for the game so far, something like that. otherwise it really isn't a devlog. a devlog is a log of the game's development, and there's zero information about the game's development here.

And why are you trying to steal my idea to make a rape sim?!?!  

EDIT: lol, one time somebody else said they liked one of my games and I accused them of trolling. I forgot who it was but somebody pointed it out and said, "lol phubans thinks his fans are trolling him when they say they like his games." or something. That made me lol.

If you're the real deal, then more power to you :D I could always use another phubans groupie

You are correct Mr. Eres and Rebel, and I am sorry for not having any content up. I'm going to be honest here: I finished the logo and was so happy with it that I needed to put up a thread showing off.

I will update my first post in a little bit with more information and a mockup. I think I'm well on my way. This game will have a soundtrack of ambience and will be in 2-3D.

phubans, it's a really weird coincidence, but I did not mean at all to have your username backwards. And I honestly had no clue that you were making a rape sim! Do you have a devlog?
